Instructions

Step 1: Start by spritzing a sheet of Distress Watercolor Cardstock with water using a Distress Sprayer. This will help the color wick after spraying the Distress Oxide Spray. Shake the Distress Oxide Spray vigorously to mix color well before each use. Then spritz color onto wet Distress Watercolor Cardstock, leaving a little white space in the upper right side. I used Squeezed Lemonade, Spun Sugar and Broken China.

Step 2: Spritz a little more water on watercolor cardstock to wick color, then dry with heat tool. The first layer of colors will look a little like this.

Step 3: Build color by unscrewing lid and flick Distress Oxide Spray color droplets onto cardstock.

Step 4: Dry well with heat tool.

Step 5: Continue building color with addition Distress Oxide Spray color droplets repeating steps 3 & 4.

Step 6: Cut a strip of Distress Watercolor Cardstock 1 5/8 x 5 1/2 inches. Then die cut the silhouette of the flower from the Sizzix Tim Holtz Thinlits Wildflower Stems set. This is the one I chose. Save the inner die cut, you can use that on a different project.

Step 7: Spritz the strip of Distress Watercolor Cardstock with water using a Distress Sprayer.

Step 8: Spritz Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Spray onto wet Distress Watercolor Cardstock, leaving a little white space in the upper right side. Then dry with heat tool.

Step 9: To add more interest, splatter card panels with watered down White Gesso. Then dry with heat tool.

Step 10: Set flower silhouette panel on top of colorized panel for stamping placement. Align the three stamps that phrase "just a little hello friend" from the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Glorious Bouquet stamp set onto a small grid block. Ink stamps with Distress Archival Black Soot and stamp in the lower right hand corner.

Step 11: Trim down panels for card base. Attach the flower silhouette panel to colorized panel using Ranger Letter It Clear 3-D Foam Tape. Then tie off a bow using eclectic elements craft thread and adhere with Distress Collage Medium.

Step 12: Attached colorized panel to black card panel, then to kraft A2 card base using Distress Collage Medium. This is a quick fun summer time card, I hope you give it a try!
