Today’s card shares two ways to use Liquid Pearls to add color and shimmer to your cards.

Step 1: Cut a panel of Simon Hurley create. Stark White Cardstock to 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”. Center Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Layering Stencil Tracks, over top, and spread Ranger Opaque Matte Texture Paste through the stencil using Simon Hurley create Paste Tool. Remove and clean stencil and tools, and allow panel to dry.

Step 2: Paint over dried stenciled/paste panel with Hydrangea, Firecracker, and Outrageous Liquid Pearls. Allow to dry.

Step 3: With a dry brush, lightly brush Gold Pearl Liquid Pearls over portions of the stenciled/painted panel to add a bit of gold shimmer. Allow to dry.

Step 4: Cut another panel of Simon Hurley create. Stark White Cardstock to 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”. Paint panel with Ground Espresso Distress Paint. Allow to dry.

Step 5: Trim Distress painted panel to 4” x 5 1/4” and die cut three leaves from the Tim Holtz Sizzix Thinlets Die Set Leaf Fragments from the panel.

Step 6: Using a dry brush, lightly paint leaves with Gold Pearl Liquid Pearls.

Step 7: Assemble card. Trim down stenciled panel and adhere directly to card base made from Simon Hurley create. Stark White Cardstock. Adhere Distress painted die cut panel with foam adhesive. Add additional paint to panel in corners as needed. Adhere die cut leaves slightly offset from die cut openings with foam adhesive. Stamp sentiment from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Cling Mount Stamp Crazy Talk set with Ranger Emboss It Ink Pad Clear, and emboss with Ranger Embossing Powder Gold. Arrange some gold thread over card. Fussy cut embossed sentiment and adhere to card with foam adhesive attaching gold thread to card at the same time.
