Make a Wish Card By Cassie Lynch

Cassie Lynch shares how to create this quaint Make a Wish card using Wendy Vecchi MAKE ART Blendable Dye Inks, STAY-tion, Stamp Positioner, and more!

Instructions

Wendy Vecchi Make a Wish Card Step 1

Step 1: Using a 4" x 5-¼" piece of Wendy Vecchi Perfect Cardstock, lightly ink the register stamp with Archival Watering Can Ink. Roll the stamp onto the paper rather than stamping with a block because you’re looking for it to be barely visible.

Step 2: Directly ink the intersecting circle stencil with MAKE ART Blendable Dye Ink in Leaf Green. Next, spritz the inked stencil with water. Immediately lay the stencil on top of your stamped cardstock. Press down lightly on the stencil and then lift up.

Step 3: Stamp the large and small flower pots from the Ranger Flower Pot set with Black Archival Ink. Using a Blending Tool, ink the pots with MAKE ART Blendable Dye Ink color Watering Can. Shade, using a Detail Blending Tool, with Black Archival Ink. Cut out or die cut the flower pot.

Step 4: Stamp the flowers from Thank You and Flowers Say It All. Then die cut them or fussy cutthem. Ink with Cornflower Blue and Sunflower. They were shaded with Orange Blossom, Tea Rose and Potting Soil.

Step 5: Place the pots and flowers on your card but do not glue them yet. You’re just working on placement right now. Using the Wendy Vecchi Stamp Positioner you can get your background leaves exactly where you want them.

Step 6: Using the stencil that is included in the Thank You stamp set, place it over the leaves and then ink with Prickly Pear and shade with Fern Green.

Step 7: Time to assemble and glue your pieces using Wendy Vecchi Perfect Card Adhesive. A piece of Wendy Vecchi Washi Tape was added under the flower pots to act as a shelf. Stamp a sentiment on the top of the card and then your card is finished.
