Summer is the perfect time for bright colors, sweet flavors and creativity... I'd like to think this card has all of the above!

Step 1: Gather Supplies: Make-It Fun with Fruit Stamp Set and Slanted Stencil; selection of Ranger Embossing Powders; selection of Archival Inks; Simon Hurley create. Stark White Cardstock; Emboss It Clear Ink Pad and Dabber; Perfect Medium Pens.

Step 2: Using an Emboss It Clear Ink Pad and the Heat It Craft Tool, stamp and emboss the SOLID fruit stamps as follows on Stark White Cardstock: Blueberries in Blue Embossing Powder; Lemon slice in Yellow Tinsel; Apple (with leaf and stem) in Green Neon; Peach (but not the stem and leaf) in Blush Pearl; Cherries (but not the stems and leaf) in Red.

Step 3: Using Ranger Jet Black Archival Ink, stamp the outlines over the fruits from Step 2 and allow them to dry before proceeding.

Step 4: Use the brush or bullet pen from the Perfect Medium Pen Set to color in the leaves and stems on the Cherries (emboss with Green e/p) and Peach (emboss with Verdigris). When all of the fruits are completed, cut them out neatly with scissors, leaving a very thin border of white all around.

Step 5: Stamp the "Thanks a Bunch" sentiment and emboss in Black; trim into a neat strip. Cut a 3" diameter circle from Stark White Cardstock, arrange the fruit pieces in a cluster and affix them with 3D Foam Squares. Attach the sentiment strip at the bottom of the circle. Set aside.

Step 6: Trim Stark White Cardstock into four small panels measuring 2 x 4" each. Create four gingham panels by using the Make-It Slanted Stencil first in one direction, then rotate the stencil 90 degrees and apply a darker coat of the same color, or a slightly darker coordinating shade. The sample uses: Sweet Treat with Vibrant Fuchsia; Sea Grass with Avocado Toast; Sun Dazed with Sand Castle; and Beach Cruiser with Mountain Lake.

Step 7: Use the Emboss It Dabber to apply a very thin coat of clear ink around the edges of each gingham piece from Step 6, and emboss with the following colors: Love Letter on the pink panel; Green Neon on the green; Marigold on the yellow; and Blue Neon on the blue panel.

Step 8: Working on a 4.25 x 5.75" panel of Stark White Cardstock, arrange the four gingham pieces as shown, allowing them to go off the edge of the panel. Affix with Dina Wakley Media Glue. When the glue is dry and the piece is secure, carefully trim the over-hanging edges, then fill in the gaps around the edges with the trimmed-off pieces.

Step 9: Add the fruit circle to the completed multi-gingham panel; and attach the whole thing to a white A6 card. Send ASAP to a friend or family member who deserves a little appreciation!
