Today’s card shares a fun way to amp up the texture on your card by creating a whole new surface using a variety of stencils.

Step 1: Cut a panel of Wendy Vecchi Perfect Cardstock White into three strips. Place Make-It Stencil Wavy Lines over one strip, and spread Ranger Texture Paste Transparent Matte through stencil, remove and allow to dry. Repeat with other strips and Make-It Slanted and Pegboard stencils.

Step 2: Cut strips into 1” x 1” squares and adhere to a scrap piece of cardstock alternating patterns and orientation of the patterns.

Step 3: With a dry brush, lightly spread Tim Holtz Distress Paint, Twisted Citron over the panel, you do not need to fully and evenly cover the surface.

Step 4: Stamp citrus images from Make-It Clear Stamp Set, Fun with Fruit with Ranger Emboss It Ink Pad Clear, and emboss with Distress Twisted Citron Embossing Glaze, and fussy cut.

Step 5: Paint around edges of panel of Wendy Vecchi Perfect Cardstock White cut to 3 1/4” x 4 1/4”.

Step 6: Assemble card. Add a bit of inking around edges of stenciled square panel with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad Mowed Lawn as well as a bit of white splatter using Tim Holtz Distress Paint, Picket Fence. Adhere stenciled square panel to panel with painted edges and then to card base. Adhere Citrus images, popping two up with foam tape. Stamp/emboss sentiment on Tim Holtz Distress Black Heavystock with Ranger Emboss It Ink Pad Clear and Ranger Embossing Powder White Super Fine Detail. Adhere to panel with foam adhesive.
