Instructions

I love the look of the Ranger Metallic White Texture Paste! Here I will show you how I layered stencils to keep the paste in one area of these cute monster valentine cards!

Step 1: Cut 3 pieces of Ranger Heavy Stock to 4”x4” squares. Using the Ranger Craft Sheet to protect the surface, ink blend Rose Madder Archival Ink over one half of the Sunrays Stencil on the cardstock. Next, line up the second stencil and ink blend Light House Archival Ink.

Step 3: Layer the Letter It Dancing Dots Stencil under the Sunrays stencil used when ink blending with the Light House ink. It is a good idea to tape the two stencils together to prevent them from shifting. Line up the sunray stencil over the ink blended panels and spread the Metallic Texture Paste over the stencil. This will keep the dots only on one half of the sunray. Do this to all three panels, making sure to clean the stencils between each panel. Set them aside to dry.

Step 8: Using the Tim Holtz mini trimmer, trim down the sentiments and mat them on Tim Holtz Distress Black Heavystock. Adhere the stenciled panel to 4 ¼” x 4 ½” card bases cut from Tim Holtz White Heavystock and glue on the remaining pieces to finish the card. Using foam Tape behind the monsters to keep them level with the thickness of the chippies.
