Hi there everyone! Today’s card has me so excited, because we are making a galaxy background using the new Stellar Inks. These inks are so vibrant and blend so beautifully with the new Blending Brushes. Let’s get started with our card.
Step 1: Trim a piece of Stark White cardstock down to 4” x 5 ¼”, and start blending all over your panel using the Blending Brushes and the High Tide, Shooting Star, and Prom Queen Stellar Inks.
Step 2: Using a Blending Brush and some Black Widow Stellar Ink, blend your color all over the panel being sure to let some of that color peek through.
Step 3: Splatter some Picket Fence Distress Paint all over the panel using a stamp block and a small paint brush. Keep in mind that the color will dry back a bit. Now set that off to the side to dry.
Step 4: Stamp your image using the Archival Jet Black ink.
Step 5: Using a waterbrush, watercolor your image using some High Tide and Guppy Stellar Inks.
Step 6: Die cut your image.
Step 7: If you need more images to really make your background pop, follow steps 4 through 6.
Step 8: Stamp your sentiment with Archival Jet Black ink, and color strips of Stark White Cardstock using some Guppy Stellar Ink.
Step 9: Assemble your card together and use foam tape to adhere your images and sentiment to your card.
