Simon Hurley create. Patriotic Card
- Materials
- Instructions

Step 1: Cut a piece of cardstock to 8.5” x 5.5”. Lay the 'Frostbite' Stencil on top of the trimmed cardstock. Blend blue and red ink through the stencil to make a patriotic background.
Step 2: Remove the stencil and trim the cardstock in half so each piece measures 4.25” x 5.5”.

Step 3: Take the sprayer out of the Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide and hold it over the blended backgrounds. Tap your finger on the sprayer to cause droplets to fall on to your backgrounds. Repeat this process with the White Acrylic Gloss Spray.

Step 4: Add sentiment stickers to the card or heat emboss your favorite sentiment to change things up.

Step 5: Assemble the card. Attach the card panel to a white A2 sized card base. You're done!

I’m Jess Francisco from A Card Day’s Work. I live in Virginia Beach with my husband and our sons who are 4 and 2 years old. They keep me busy, so most of my crafting is done while they’re in bed. I have been creating for as long as I can remember, but I started my card making journey in 2015. I have learned so many techniques and added so many new products to my growing list of favorites. Now that I have a few years under my belt, I’m excited to share what I’ve learned with the crafting community! You can find me on social media as @acarddayswork or my website:
