Hello everyone! New products are always exciting, and the new Simon Hurley create. products have me longing for the ocean! Today I combined the new stamps with a new stencil and Solar Spray. I absolutely love how the Solar Sprays looked sprayed over dark inks. Let’s get started with our card.
Step 1: Trim a piece of Watercolor cardstock down to 4” x 5 1/4”. Blend Clear Skies ink at the top of your panel and blend Midnight Sky at the bottom using a Blending Brush.
Step 2: Using part of the Peel-Apart Saltwater stamp and Clear Skies ink, stamp the top of your panel to make it look like a wave.
Step 3: Spray Deep End Solar Spray through the larger fish on the Fish Frenzy Stencil over the bottom of your panel. Let that dry.
Step 4: Ink up the Octopus from the Under the Sea stamp using Prom Queen ink and then pounce 100% Juice on the edges of the stamp. Stamp that down onto watercolor cardstock.
Step 5: Die cut the octopus using the matching dies.
Step 6: Stamp your sentiment onto a scrap piece of watercolor cardstock using Black Widow ink. Trim down your sentiment to the size you want.
Step 7: Assemble your card panel and attach it to a card base.
