Hello everyone! For today’s fun project I made an A2 card using images from Simon Hurley’s Oh Deer! and Stitched Snowflakes stamps. It is an easy project that does not require any coloring just colorful ink pads. I hope you have fun with it. Let’s begin!
Step 1: Create an A2 card base out of Stark White Cardstock. Cut the 8½ x 11 cardstock at 5½ and then score at 4¼. Cut another piece measuring 4¼ x 5½.
Step 2: On the 4¼ x 5½ cardstock panel, stamp the Stitched Snowflakes using Midnight Snack and Breakup Blue Ink.
Step 3: On leftover Stark White Cardstock, stamp the solid deer images from the Oh Deer! set using Guppy, Overzealous, and Prom Queen.
Step 4: Fussy cut the stamped images and then use Wendy Vecchi Perfect Card Adhesive to glue one of the deer on top of the other two deer.
Step 5: Use White Foam Tape to add some dimension to the deer images.
Step 6: Use Simon Hurley’s Acrylic Stamping Block to stamp a sentiment from the Oh Deer! stamp set on Tim Holtz Alcohol Ink Cardstock Black Matte using the Ranger Heat It Craft Tool, Emboss It Ink Pad Clear, and Super Fine White Embossing Powder.
Step 7: Add noses to the deer with Liquid Pearls: Marigold, Taffy, and Prickly Pear. For the background of the front panel add Stickles Glitter Glue Silver and Liquid Pearls Robin's Egg.
Step 8: Use White Foam Tape to tape the sentiment on the front panel. Then apply the White Foam to mount the card panel onto the card base measuring 4¼ x 5½.
