Hello friends! I’m very excited to share with you today’s project using items from Simon Hurley’s new release. For today’s project I made a card using the new Sketched Florals stamp set and the Tiny Hearts stencil to make a quick card. I hope you enjoy this fun tutorial! 

 

Simon Hurley Sketched Florals Card Step 1

Step 1: Create an A2 card base out of Stark White Cardstock. Cut the 8½ x 11 cardstock at 5½ and then score at 4¼. Cut another piece measuring 4 x 5¼.

Step 2: Use the Wendy Vecchi MAKE ART Stay-tion to hold in place the cardstock and the Tiny Heart stencil. Then ink cardstock using the Remember Me ink pad with the Blending Tool.

Step 3: Use Simon Hurley create. Acrylic Stamping Block to stamp one of the images from the Sketched Floral stamp set using Archival Jet Black. Then heat emboss using the Emboss It ink pad and Clear Embossing Powder.

Step 4: Use Simon Hurley create Acrylic Stamping Block to stamp one of the sentiments from the Sketched Floral stamp set using Archival Jet Black.

Step 5: To color the image from the Sketched Floral stamp set use the Fake Plant, Shooting Star, and Love Struck ink pads with some water and the Ranger Artist Brushes.

Step 6: Add Glossy Accents to the center of the flower and use Liquid Pearl Brass color to color the flower vase image from the Sketched Floral stamp set.

Step 7: Use Letter It Clear Foam Roll Tape to the front panel cardstock to add dimension to the card.

Step 8: Pair card with your favorite envelope to be ready to send to that special someone in your life.
