Toast to the New Year! Follow along as Lauren Bergold creates this festive card using Stickles and Stickles Glitter Gels for a dazzling effect. It's the perfect way to send your love and cheers to a friend or loved one.Â
Stickles and Stickles Glitter Gels are both super sparkly on a variety of backgrounds AND work amazingly well in conjunction with stencils. What more could a crafter want?

Step 1: Gather materials: Stickles Glitter Glue in Mercury Glass; Stickles Glitter Gel in Venus; Ranger Embossing Ink and Powder in Black and Gold Tinsel; Letter it Wedding Clear Stamps; Simon Hurley create stencils Tiny Hearts and Pow!; Tim Holtz Sign Painter Alphabet; Simon Hurley create Stark White Cardstock; Black Matte Alcohol Ink Cardstock.

Step 2: Position Simon Hurley's create Pow! Stencil over a 5 x 7" panel of Black Matte Alcohol Ink Cardstock. Use Simon's Paste Tools to apply a generous coat of Stickles Glitter Gel in Venus. Lift the stencil off carefully and set the panel aside on a flat surface to dry completely. Clean the stencil with warm water and dish soap.

Step 3: Using a small oval die and a black Letter It Fineliner, create a pair of champagne flutes approximately 1.5 x 3"; OR size and print some free clipart from the internet.

Step 4: Mask the area around the glasses with sticky notes or washi tape and apply Mercury Glass Stickles through Simon Hurley's create Tiny Hearts Stencil. Lift the stencil off carefully and set the panel aside on a flat surface to dry completely. Clean the stencil with warm water and dish soap.

Step 5: Stamp the word "Toast" from Letter It's Wedding Clear Stamp Set with embossing ink. Sprinkle on Ranger Black Embossing Powder, tapping off the excess and returning it to the jar. Use a small brush to remove any stray powder. Melt the powder with the Ranger's Heat It Craft Tool and allow to cool completely before proceeding.

Step 6: Stamp "2025" from Tim Holt's Sign Painter Alphabet with embossing ink and sprinkle on Ranger Gold Tinsel Embossing Powder. Tap off excess powder and return it to the jar. Use a small brush to remove any stray powder. Melt with the Heat It Craft Tool and allow to cool completely before proceeding.

Step 7: Use scissors to cut out "Thanks" and the numerals from Steps 5 and 6. Optional: Use a pale pink brush pen and/or Letter It Fineliner to add shadows or outlines to the characters before cutting out.

Step 8: Assembly: Trim the black and pink Glitter Gel panel to 4.5 x 5.5" and round the corners if desired. Add the champagne flutes, numerals and sentiment on foam tape, as pictured. Create a 5 x 6" card from Simon Hurley create Stark White Cardstock and add the finished design panel using Wendy Vecchi Perfect Card Adhesive.

Step 9: Use the Pow! Stencil and Vibrant Fuchsia Archival Ink to decorate a coordinating envelope and send to the person you're most looking forward to seeing in the New Year!
