Jess Francisco shows you how easy it is to use Simon Hurley create. Stamping Foam and Dye Inks as she makes this colorful ombre set of thank you cards.

Instructions

Stamping Foam Thank You Card Step 1

Step 1: Use the Heat It Tool to warm up a block of Stamping Foam for approximately 10-15 seconds.

Step 3: Using Simon Hurley Dye Ink Pads, apply ink directly to the Stamping Foam. For the project examples, two combinations were used: Sike, Breakup Blue, Midnight Snack OR Piggyback, Rosy Cheeks, Prom Queen.

Step 4: Use the Distress Sprayer to lightly coat the ink on the Stamping Foam with water. The more water you add, the runnier the ink will be – feel free to experiment and see how much water gives a result you like!

Step 5: Flip the Stamping Foam over and press the inked side directly to a piece of Stark White Cardstock measuring 4”x5.25”. Hold the Stamping Foam in place for a few seconds to let the ink transfer nicely to the cardstock. Remove the Stamping Foam and set it aside. You can spritz the Stamping Foam with water again at this point and do a second impression. The colors will be more muted on this impression.

Step 6: While your panel is drying, treat a piece of black cardstock with the Anti-Static Pouch. Stamp the 'I appreciate you so much' sentiment from Lovely Lantanas in Watermark Resist Ink. Pour Superfine Detail White Embossing Powder on top of the Watermark Ink and tap off the excess. Use the Heat Tool to melt the embossing powder. Trim the sentiment strip to just larger than the sentiment itself.

Step 7: Cut a piece of Stark White Cardstock 8.5” x 5.5” and fold it in half to make an A2-sized card base. Attach the dried card panel to the card base using Multi Medium Matte. A little goes a long way, so be careful not to use too much.

Use a piece of Letter It Foam Tape to attach the sentiment to the card panel. You're done!
