Instructions
Step 1: Create a tag out of Simon Hurley create. Stark White Cardstock by stamping the city scene from the Simon Hurley create. Supermom stamp set on the bottom with Clear Embossing Ink. Sprinkle Black Embossing Powder over top and melt the powder with a Heat Tool.
Step 2: Using a Mini Ink Blending Tool with Foam, blend Clear Skies Ink above the building. Spritz a little water on sky and dab with a paper towel to create clouds.
Step 3: Apply Over the Moon with Ink Blending Tool to windows on building. Swipe the ink in a downward motion for complete coverage.
Step 4: Stamp the Mom from the Supermom! Stamp set on Stark White Cardstock and color in using your favorite coloring medium. Using adhesive foam, adhere to the tag. Repeat with Supermom sentiment. Adhere to the bottom of the tag.
Step 5: Add a few drops of Mermaid Tail Stickles to finish the tag.
Step 6: Create four more tags. Stamp the girl and dog images from the Supermom Stamp Set in black ink and color with your favorite medium. Cut out images.
Step 7: To create tag backgrounds, blend Piggyback and Prom Queen Dye Ink and mist with water. Stamp the Simon Hurley create. Jewel Heist Backgound Stamp in Crown Me Ink over top.
Step 8: Stamp “Mom”, “You Got This” and “Best Mom Ever” on Stark White Cardstock. Using a paper trimmer cut the sentiments out. For "You Got This” cut between each word. Color sentiments and ink edges with Simon Hurley Create Dye Inks. Traffic Cone, Prom Queen and Later Gator were used in this tutorial.
Step 9: Adhere images and sentiments to tags and finish by adding drops of Stickles in Mermaid Tail.
Step 10: Stamp and color the boy image from the Supermom Stamp Set and cut out. On another tag, create a background by blending Crown Me and Prom Queen Dye Ink over the tag. Place the Simon Hurley create. Pow! Stencil over tag and blend again with Crown Me.
Step 11: Stamp “It’s not easy to raise me…You’re a Real Supermom” from the Supermom Stamp set onto Stark White Cardstock. Cut out. Swipe Prom Queen over strip and ink the edges. Adhere boy and sentiment to tag. Add a few drops of Stickles in Mermaid Tail to finish tag.
Step 12: Take a piece of out of season wrapping paper and flip it over to the backside. Place a piece of craft foam under the wrapping paper to provide a cushion for the stamp. This will create a crisp clear image.
Step 13: Randomly stamp the “Pow” and “Wow” stamp on wrapping paper in Barn Door Tim Holtz Distress Archival Ink.
Step 14: Cover each image with a diecut circle to mask. Mist paper with Dina Wakley Media Gloss Spray in Lemon and Ocen. Remove circles and let dry.
Step 15: Wrap present with decorated wrapping paper. Decorate presents and gift boxes with tags and twine.
