There’s something special about handmade holiday cards; they carry warmth, charm, and a personal touch. In today’s project, Asia shows how to create a vintage-inspired Merry Christmas card that’s simple to make and perfect for spreading festive cheer.

Step 1: Blend Antique Linen Distress Oxide Ink on the card panel.

Step 2: Stamp the "Will Leave North Pole..." from the Santa Visit Stamp Set, using Vintage Photo Distress Oxide across the panel a few times. Repeat with the Calendar stamp using Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide.

Step 3: Blend Vintage Photo Distress Oxide on the edges of the panel.

Step 4: Stamp the Santa image using Jet Black Archival Ink on a piece of watercolor cardstock.

Step 5: Color in the image with Distress Watercolor Pencils. I used Barn Door, Walnut Stain, Vintage Photo, Wild Honey, Rustic Wilderness, and Black Soot.

Step 6: Trim the Santa stamped image, once dry.

Step 7: Apply Vintage Photo Distress Oxide to the edges of the image with the Tiny Blending Tool.

Step 8: Stamp the Merry Christmas sentiment from the Department Store Stamp set on a piece of cardstock with Barn Door Distress Ink. Trim. Apply Vintage Photo Oxide Ink to the edges. Mat it on piece of cardstock blended with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

Step 9: Assemble the card – adhere stamped image and sentiment. Attach the card to a card base.
