Hello everyone! I am still having the best time making birthday cards with the latest Simon Hurley create. release, and of course, adding some snark wherever I can. Today’s card will bring in the Neon Lunar Pastes to really highlight one of the newest stencils. Let’s get into it!

Step 1: Trim a piece of Stark White Cardstock down to 4 ¼” x 5 ½” and position the Layering Bold Candles Stencil over the top. Starting with the Hot Mess Neon Lunar Paste, spread the paste with the Silicone Paste Spreader through the first candle of the stencil. Use a masking paper to cover the other candles so as not to spread paste where it isn’t wanted. Remove the stencil, clean off the stencil, and let the paste on the paper dry or heat it lightly with a heat tool. Once it’s dry, reposition the stencil on the paper and work across the stencil using the different pastes repeating the process of masking off and drying each candle until the stenciling is complete.

Step 2: Reposition the Layering Bold Candles Stencils over the background so that the flames are sitting right on top of the candles. Use a Small Blending Brush and blend some Buzzkill and Guppy ink to make the flames.

Step 3: Put a little bit of No Chill Neon Lunar Paste onto a nonporous surface. Spritz a small amount of water on the paste and mix until it is a smooth liquid consistency. Spatter that onto the background.

Step 4: Stamp the sentiments onto a piece of black cardstock using Clear Emboss It Ink. Cover that with Super Fine White Embossing Powder and heat with the Heat Tool until it is smooth and melted. Let it cool.

Step 5: Die cut the sentiment using the matching dies from Snarky Birthday. Trim down the other sentiment.

Step 6: Trim the stenciled panel down to 4”x 5 ¼” and attach that to a black panel measuring 4 ¼” x 5 ½” as well as the sentiments to the front of the panel using MEdia Glue. Assemble the card.
