Hello, crafty friends! I don’t know about you, but sometimes I get it in my head that certain colors must go for certain holidays. Christmas cards don’t always have to be red and green, right?! Gold and black are such elegant colors when paired together, so I was inspired to craft my project using those colors. Let’s get into the card for today!

Step 1: Trim a piece of Stark White Cardstock down to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”, and blend Shady Stellar Ink all over the panel using a Blending Brush. Blend even more of the Shady ink onto the edges to make them a bit darker.

Step 2: Stamp the Sheet Music stamp onto the panel using Black Widow Stellar Ink.

Step 3: Trim another piece of Stark White Cardstock down to 2 ¾” x 4”, and blend Shooting Star Stellar Ink all over the panel.

Step 4: Using the bigger star stencil from the Sparkling Stars Layering Stencil, blend Slippery When Wet onto the panel.

Step 5: Now Spray Golden Hour Solar Spray through that same stencil without moving it from it’s previous position. Let that dry.

Step 6: Using the next stencil from the Sparkling Stars Layering Stencil and a palette knife, spread some Phoenix Feather Astro Paste onto the panel. Set that to the side to dry.

Step 7: Stamp the snowman stamp and the postage cancelled lines from the Christmas Postage stamp onto a piece of watercolor cardstock using the Jet Black Archival Ink .

Step 8: Watercolor the image using a waterbrush and Shooting Star, Slippery When Wet, Check Engine, and Shady Stellar Inks that have been dabbed onto a nonporous surface.

Step 9: Fussy cut out your stamped images.

Step 10: Attach the completed panel to the front of a card base that measures 5 ½”x 8 ½” and is scored at 4 ¼”. Use foam tape to attach the smaller panel to the middle of your piece. Assemble the rest of the card.
