Who says Valentines have to be any particular color? This one is black and white and *S*P*A*R*K*L*Y* all over... and was A LOT of fun to make!

Step 1: Trim a piece of black Alcohol Ink Cardstock to 6 x 4.25" and stamp the Simon Hurley create. Typewriter Background Stamp with Emboss It Clear Ink. Sprinkle with Ranger White Embossing Powder and melt with the Heat It Craft Tool. Set aside and allow panel to cool completely.

Step 2: On a piece of Stark White Cardstock slightly smaller than the panel from Step 1, draw some chunky letters that spell "WILD". Don't worry about making them neat or consistent... the wonkier they are, the cooler they will look! Cut the letters apart, but don't cut them out yet.

Step 3: Place the giraffe pattern from the Animal Prints Stencil Set over the "W" and use a Mini Ink Blending tool with a Domed Foam to apply Sepia Archival Ink.

Step 4: When the stenciling is complete, fill in the background area with Chrome Yellow. Cut out the letter and set aside.

Step 5: Place the Zebra patterned stencil from the Animal Prints set over the letter "I" and apply a heavy coat of Coffee Archival; then cut the letter out.

Step 6: For the letter "L" apply Olive Green Archival through the Intertwined Stencil; then fill in the background with Seagrass and cut out.

Step 7: The letter "D" gets a soft coat of Monarch Orange through the solid stencil from the Leopard Set; Sepia through the detail stencil; and very light coat of Chrome Yellow for the background before cutting out.

Step 8: Using a set of nested heart dies or a template, cut out three hearts of varying size: the smallest about .5" wide, the largest about 1.5". Apply Light House Archival through the Tiny Diamonds Stencil; then Wine Cellar to the background.

Step 9: Time to add sparkle to all the letters and hearts. You can use the applicator tip to apply the Stickles directly to the small detailed patterns, or dispense onto a palette and use a small brush to apply. On the sample, the following colors are used: Wine Cellar on the diamond pattern of the hearts; Mercury Glass on the brown giraffe spots of the "W"; Copper on the zebra stripes of the "I"; Garden State on the darker stripes of the "L"; and Sunflower to the orange centers of the leopard spots on the "D". Set all of the pieces aside on a flat surface and allow to dry completely.

Step 10: Stamp "For You" from Letter It's Thanks Stamp Set in clear ink and emboss with Black Embossing Powder. When the sentiment is cool, apply Wine Cellar Archival to the background and then trim into an uneven trapezoid.

Step 11: OPTIONAL: Create skinny mats for all of the letters, the hearts, the small sentiment and the background panel. Apply Light House Ink to the edges of each and attach each piece to its corresponding mat using Dina Wakley MEdia Glue.

Step 12: Space the letters eclectically across the embossed background panel and affix with Foam Adhesive Squares. Add the smallest heart as the dot for the "I"; the medium as the center of the "D"; and the largest as an accent at the lefthand side, partially under the "W". Add the "For You" sentiment towards the righthand side of the panel, overlapping the last three letters. Add the completed design panel to a white A6 card made from Stark White Cardstock. Use the same stencils and inks to decorate a matching envelope... then mail to your Valentine!
