Instructions
Hello Makers! I thought it would be nice to make a lovely floral card with some Embossing Glazes that could make a beautiful Mother’s Day Card or a feminine birthday card.

Step 1: Gather the supplies listed.

Step 2: Begin by stamping a background on an A2 piece of Watercolor Cardstock with the script stamp from Exquisite CMS453 in Distress Hickory Smoke Archival Ink. Dry completely.

Step 3: Stamp the hibiscus flowers from Floral Trims CMS461 on the right side of the card with Distress Ground Espresso Archival Ink along the right side of the card, partially off the side. Dry Completely.

Step 4: Cover the entire card front with anti-static powder as we will be using Distress Glazes in these next few steps. Using a Distress Embossing Pen or Letter It Medium Pen, color the leaves in one section. The embossing pen or letter it pen will add medium to the section but it will be clear so do this methodically, so you get the section completely covered. Then sprinkle a variety of green Embossing Glazes over those leaves. Gently tap excess off and heat until shiny. Repeat until all the leaves are green. You may need to apply anti-static powder in between each section.

Step 5: Next move on to the flowers. You need to apply anti-static powder over the embossed leaves before moving on to the flowers.
Color one flower in with the embossing pen, then sprinkle Fossilized Amber glaze in the middle of the flower, surround it with Abandoned Coral, then Saltwater Taffy and ending with Tattered Rose around the outside edge. Gently tap off excess and heat until shiny. This should give you a flower with a yellow center and a dark coral to light coral flower. Repeat until all the flowers and buds are colored.

Step 6:Stamp one of the Crochet Trims CMS480 along the left side of the card front with Distress Embossing Ink. Cover with Antique Linen Distress Embossing Glaze and heat until shiny.

Step 7: Using a Blending Tool and Blending Foam, blend Frayed Burlap Distress Ink across the entire card front. Edge with Scorched Timber Distress Ink. Spray with droplets of water and let the ink react to distress.

Step 8: While the background is drawing, cut a sentiment. Dies used on the sample card are Alphanumeric Classic 664223 for the YOU and love from Handwritten Love 660218. Cut them both from Distress Watercolor Cardstock. Attach the card front to a white A2 card, then adhere the YOU letters to the bottom left corner of the card front.

Step 9: Push the script love word onto the Distress Embossing Ink Pad. Then sprinkle with Scorched Timber Distress Embossing Glaze. Heat until shiny. You may need to do this step twice to make sure you have even coverage. Attach over the large white word.

Step 10: The shine that the Embossing Glaze adds to this card is unique as it also adds color while allowing the script to show through.

Thank you so much for following along with the tutorial. I hope you will give this a try!
