This book is exactly what my 6 year old and I were looking for. I wanted page by page instructions instead of video. She likes seeing picture by picture on what to do as well. We love playing with paint and learning to ART journal! THIS BOOK IS GREAT!

Very nice book. Soft Cover, contains introduction to art Journaling, tools, surfaces, inks paints, pens, brushes, adhesives, imagery, basics. Covers Background basics, colour theory, ghosting (to good ghosting), building layers, painting, stained glass (which is my favorite so far), stamps and stencils. and lots lots more.... Book is 84 pages long. Very Colorful and thick pages. I think once I am done with this book, I will use some of the pictures for collages also. Very nice photos and instructions. Thank you Dyan for getting me back into art again.
