It is my lightest shade of these four colors and worked beautifully. Please note this was a brand new stamp so the spots are due to my not cleaning my stamp off first.

I was so optimistic to try out Simon Hurley's inks, but was disappointed once they arrived. The colors are beautiful and quite true to the label, their reaction with water is nice and subtle, and they blend well with blending brushes, but were not the stamping solution I hoped they'd be. First and foremost, the felt pads of all four colors that I purchased are higher at the corners than in the middle, making it very difficult to get good coverage in the middle of my stamps. Second, the ink beaded up on my clear stamps, leaving a blotchy, fuzzy image. This happened on old, new, cheap, and expensive clear stamps. I managed a work-around in that I dab ink straight from the pad onto the stamp, then pounce all over the stamp with a Ranger ink-blending sponge. This gave me even coverage with a light tone, which I could repeat (with a stamping tool) until the color was as dark as I liked. All in all, they're worth keeping, but I didn't get the effortless results I was hoping for.
